William Christian Schuette age 80 of Alliance died at 4:36 a.m. May 26, 2003 at Barberton Citizens Hospital.
He was born October 26, 1922 in Baltimore, Maryland to Christian William and Katherine (Dare) Schuette. Mr. Schuette lived in the Alliance area since 1948 and retired from the U.S. Postal Service.
Mr. Schuette was a member of the Elks Lodge, Tadmor Temple, Conrad Masonic Lodge, and DAV. A Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Infantry, he served during W.W.II.
Survivors include two daughters, Catherine Williams of West Hills California, and Peg Schuette of Molalla, Oregon.
His parents and his former wife Yolanda Difloure Schuette preceded him in death.
Burial will be in the Veterans Section at Alliance City Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
