William R. Spencer

William R. Spencer, age 65, of Canton, passed away on January 5, 2023.

He was born on November 3, 1957, in Warren, Ohio, to William G. and Ellen H. (Nordstrom) Spencer.

He graduated from Fort Knox High School in Kentucky and continued his education at various colleges. William spoke fluent Spanish and taught English in Mexico City. He served as Crash Crew and a fireman in the United States Marine Corp for four years.

William enjoyed reading and listening to music.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother; his son, William Bryan Spencer Vargas of Mexico City; his brothers, Douglas (Melanie) Spencer of Punta Gorda, FL, Richard (Nadine) Spencer of Alliance, and Robert (Jeannie) Nordstrom of Akron; his sister, Robin Dalesandro of Alliance; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Ricky Spencer.

A service will be held at Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
