William C. Williamson, age 89, of Magnolia, died at 10:02 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born May 2, 1921, in Alliance, to Clyde and Wilma (Hahn) Williamson.
William graduated from Salineville High School. He was a self-employed welder and former owner of Williamson Welding in East Canton and also welded for Kimble Clay.
He was a United States Navy Seabee for four years.
Survivors include his son, Darrell (Nancy) Williamson; daughter, Cheryl (Thomas) Marshall; four grandchildren, Jeremy Zigler, Ryan Williamson, Elyse Williamson and Mandy Starks; great grandchildren, Ashley Zigler and Cameron James Elmore; two step-daughters; one step-granddaughter; and two sisters, Grace Eckley and Hazel Sharpe.
William was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Connie who died August, 2010; his first wife, Pat Williamson; step daughter; and brothers, Robert Williamson and Lloyd Williamson.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2011 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
