William H. Woodward

William H. Woodward, 88, of Alliance passed away at 4:30 a.m. Monday, January 22, 2018, at Davis Haven in Beloit.
He was born March 25, 1929, in Alliance, Ohio, to William Jay and Lois Gladys (Oyster) Woodward and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Woodward was employed by Coca Cola Bottling Company in Alliance and retired in 1991 from Transue and Williams Stamping Plant.
He attended Regina Coeli Catholic Church. His memberships included VFW Post 1036, American Legion Post 166, Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 2370 and United Commercial Travelers.
Mr. Woodward was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.
Survivors include his wife, Mary E. Woodward of Alliance; stepdaughter, Linda M. Braun of Alliance; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
His parents; two sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
Private family services will be held. Interment will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
