William "Bill" Nicholas Dragomir

William Nicholas Dragomir, age 67, of North Georgetown, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on January 19, 2021 after a brief illness.

He was born on May 18, 1953 in Salem, Ohio to Vasile and Lettie Dragomir.

Bill was a man of unwavering faith and a member of Grace Chapel Church. He enjoyed Choral singing, sport journalism and radio.

A 1971 West Branch High School graduate, Bill went on to graduate from The Ohio State University and Orlando College where he earned degrees in Communication and Media Studies along with Accounting.

Most recently, he was continuing his education as a student of Ashland Theological Seminary. Bill loved watching sports, especially his beloved alma mater, Ohio State, and was their biggest fan. Bill carried his passions through as a sports writer for the Alliance Review and had worked for WNPQ Christian Radio.

Those left to cherish his memory are brother, Tom (Cheryl) Dragomir of North Georgetown; sister, Connie (Jack) Colando of Barberton; brother, Scott (Sandra) Dragomir of Minerva; and sister, Pam (John) Manko of Spanish Fort, Alabama; and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and step-mother, Shirley M. Dragomir.

A private family service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor John Carpenter officiating.

The service will be live streamed on the funeral home’s website.
