Wilma A. Sanor, age 92, of Alliance, died at 2:54 p.m. Tuesday, July 10, 2012, at Aultman Hospital.
She was born July 29, 1919, in Maximo, Ohio, to Sherman and Nora (Menegay) Cunin.
Mrs. Sanor was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance, member of Funtastics; and member and past president of the American Legion Post 574 of North Georgetown.
Survivors include her children, Robert E. (Linda) Schluneker Sr. of N. Canton, Beverly (Jon) Schluneker Hannan Sr. of Palm Bay, FL, Janice Schluneker Gang of Alliance, Paul D. Sanor of Homeworth and June (Robert) Sanor Benner of Alliance; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Paumier of Louisville, and Patricia Gatts of Louisville; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Robert G. Schluneker; second husband, Floyd M. Sanor, whom she married December 28, 1956, and who died February 27, 2008; son-in-law, Terry Gang, on June 7, 2012; four brothers, and three sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Alliance. Friends may call one hour prior to the mass at the church. Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Maximo.
