Wilma J. Wiggs, age 67, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord at 7:15 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2009 at Country Lawn Center in Navarre.
She was born February 15, 1942 in Salem to William and Catherine (Rohan) Boso.
Wilma was a graduate of Salem High School and was operations manager for Value City Department Stores until retiring in 2007.
She was a member of the Alliance First Friends Church, was involved in Bible Study and active in the Church. A very loving and caring mother and grandmother, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Wilma is survived by her sons, Howard (Paula) Wiggs of Ravenna and Greg (Cathy) Wiggs of Strasburg; four grandchildren Tyler, Hannah, Haley and Lyla Wiggs; two step daughters Stephanie (Chris) Yamsek of Strongsville, and Laura (Leonard) Roberts of Akron; brother Buzz of Parkersburg, West Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Pat Boso.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 13, 2009 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Alliance First Friends Church, 1307 W. State St. Alliance, Ohio.
