W. June (Lyons) Carlile

W. June Carlile, age 90, of Alliance, passed away at 4:52 a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born April 16, 1928, in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles William and Kathryn (Marini) Lyons.

A 1946 graduate of Alliance High School, June also graduated from Marinello Cosmetology School in Canton. She was formerly a manager of the Kurly Lox Beauty Salon and later worked in the office of  Carlile Motors and then at Custom Poly Bag, Inc.

She was a member of the Alliance Country Club and Estero Country Club at the Vines in Estero, Florida. Along with her love of traveling  worldwide, she also enjoyed traveling in their Pace Arrow with the Pace Arrow Club.   June also enjoyed cooking, needle work, reading and especially the time spent with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Lloyd A. Carlile, whom she married October 1, 1951; son, Philip (Cindy) Carlile of Marlboro; daughter, Lynn (Jim) Breit of British Columbia; ten grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, March 9th, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Edward J. Harnish officiating. Friends may call from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., prior to the service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
