Zella Faylor Bradshaw died peacefully surrounded by her family at 5:29 p.m. March 3, 2006 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born May 30, 1917 in Suffield, Ohio to Ivan A. and Elta M. (Ginther) Faylor.
Mrs. Bradshaw graduated from Suffield High School and attended Mount Union College.
Zella affectionately known as ZZ by her friends and family was a member of Alpha Zi Delta Sorority, Alliance Country Club; Alliance Woman's Club and was an avid golfer who won the championship at Alliance Country Club 26 times. ZZ also played in the Women's Akron District and had played in numerous state tournaments. She loved sharing her passion for the game of golf and taught many others to love it also.
Survivors include one son, Rodney (Kit) Bradshaw of Jupiter, Florida; two daughters, Teralee B. (Keith) Zellers of Hartville, Ohio, and Brenda J. Jolliff of Jupiter, Florida; grandchildren, Heather (Sean) Ells of Altamonte Springs, Florida, Brent Bradshaw and his fianci�½e Tamara Cressman of Orlando, Florida, Meredith A. Bradshaw of Jupiter, Florida, Amanda Z. (Andy) Beltz of Louisville, Ohio, Rebecca Z. (Matthew) Westfall of Bolivar, Ohio; great-grandchildren, Ryan and Natalie Ells; one brother, Ralph E. (Jeanette) Faylor of Spring Hill, Florida; one sister, Dorothy (Richard) Beltz of Elyria, Ohio; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Albert E. Bradshaw, whom she married Oct. 22, 1937, and who died Jan. 11, 1983; two brothers, Marvin and Harold; one sister, Helen Krichbaum; son-in-law Gerry Jolliff and niece Charlotte Faylor Osborne.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Zella's nephew Rev. Lance Faylor of Huntsville, Alabama officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Mount Peace Cemetery in Hartville. Memorial Contributions may be made to Safe Harbour, 185 E. Indiantown Rd., Jupiter, FL 33458.
